Introduction

​The Five Ways to Wellbeing are evidence-based actions that promote mental health and overall wellbeing. They include:

  1. Connect: Build and maintain strong relationships with family, friends, and your community. Social connections are crucial for emotional support and happiness.

  2. Be Active: Engage in regular physical activity. Exercise not only benefits your physical health but also boosts your mood and reduces stress.

  3. Keep Learning: Continuously seek new knowledge and skills. Learning enhances self-esteem, confidence, and provides a sense of accomplishment.

  4. Take Notice: Be mindful and aware of the present moment. Appreciate your surroundings and experiences, which can help you feel more grounded and positive.​

  5. Give: Help others through acts of kindness, volunteering, or supporting friends and family. Giving can create a sense of purpose and improve your own wellbeing.
